FliGO, launched in Milan, March 20th

SafeFleet launched in March in Milan its new X9 project, an innovative hardware platform for GPS vehicle tracking system. The project developed by the Research and Development department was improved in order to answer several requests of newly emerging segments: individuals and companies.


The new X9 device is equipped among others with 3D accelerometer, projected to perceive vehicle dynamics. X9 can be easily installed right into the vehicle diagnostic jack (OBD-II).


The FliGo application offers data regarding the current vehicle position, journeys, trajectories, alerts and events. All this data can be shared with friends and family, offering the possibility to be compared with other users in the idea of social driving. The application keeps track of both drivers’ behavior behind the wheel and car maintenance issues. FliGo can even offer the option to compete with other users regarding driving safety.

The  FliGo satellite tracking solution was launched in Milan on 20th of March 2014 at the Starhotels Business Palace. The X9 projects transposed into the FliGo application was specially designed to encourage the safety and efficiency of all vehicles, both for individuals and for businesses. The X9 hardware platform is designed to be used in multiple applications, and the FliGo application answers the individuals, companies and insurers’ needs.
